I once lived in a tiny house and loved it. One day I'll live in one again. Think about how much space you ACTUALLY use in your current house and then set your priorities for a tiny house. It CAN be done.
- Forces you to scale down the 'stuff'!
- Lower bills - sometimes no bills!
- Less to clean
- Forces you to be organized
- You'll be an instant celebrity and they're fun
- You can be mobile - so the scenery always changes
- Lower or no taxes
- Less dependence on the grid
- You'll want to be outdoors more
- They're cozy
- Avoid hosting Thanksgiving (I hate to cook!)
- Live within your means (great for retirees & college students)
- More money for the things you really love
Love this house because they go into more about the solar power system and some of the building specifications it uses:
Tiny Rental Cottage Not sure if tiny living is for you? Maybe you'd like to give it a try. There's a cute little tiny home in Oregon that can be rented by the night to see if it's something you might want to do permanently.
